Since blkjuptr (2015), I have been consistently enthralled by Smino's voice--simultaneously smooth and rigid, & always a good listen.
The St. Louis rapper dropped a new track on March 14 once "he found his SoundCloud password."
The same day, Smino interacted with the talented Noname on the Twitter timeline saying he'd drop a new track if she did.
Though we're still waiting on Noname's drop, we are grateful for this new Smi track. The two-minute track exhibits excellent use of complex melodies and instrumentation. We can thank VZN for this production (and this dope cover art).
The wordsmith turns his appreciation for 3x NBA All-Star and 2019 MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo into a catchy line in his chorus and throughout the song.
